L'Assouf est la musique de l'âme Kel-Tamasheq. Un son qui porte les blessures et la résistance d'un peuple face à l'instabilité, aux guerres et au terrorisme qui ravagent le Sahel. Azel continue ce qu'Abdallah Oumbadougou et Bombino ont ouvert — chanter ce qui ne peut pas être tu.
Assouf is the music of the Kel-Tamasheq soul — a sound carrying the wounds and resilience of a people living through instability, war and terrorism across the Sahel. Azel carries forward what Abdallah Oumbadougou and Bombino began — giving voice to what cannot be silenced.
